As resellers, we would consider Enetica, but

  1. 1. As resellers, we would consider Enetica, but

    • they lack an API for whmcs
    • the support is below standard
    • domain prices are less competitive
      0
    • they lack other options such as dedi, vps, colo etc..

    • all the above

Hi everyone.

After scouring the accredited registrars of Australia for weeks and finding that every single one of them had deficiencies in domain management features that clients had access to, I have come to the conclusion that Enetica has all the features us resellers are looking for. But the problem is, for us using whmcs, THEY DONT HAVE AN API and perhaps may have other issues such as lack of support etc. I don't know. This is just a poll, tell me!

Their reseller orders are handled via their real clean online RWI or via a client code API in perl, which resellers can easily integrate into their site. A blind man would not get lost in there. The bit that sucks, is the accounting has to be done manually. The advantage is greater. Customers have full domain management control and I mean full. A records cname mx URL / email forwarding, SSL etc, coming straight out of your site. Very professional image.

Their prices are ok to for what you are getting!

So, I am starting a poll to see if anyone agrees and maybe they might do something and raise the bar. I will let them know of the results.

Use Tppinternet I find them excellent to deal with and the prices at the best you will find anywhere for a .au domain.

I also use eNom for my TLD's which also give me best price and service,

Also from what I see TPP is supported by WHMCS which is why I am dumping MB for WHMCS this week.

Actually, I've found netRegistry to be the best by a long shot for domains. Good prices, good support, reasonable web interface ... but also no API!!

I wonder if a trainable-API-interface could be the solution? That is, you browse to the domain pages using a WHMCS module as a proxy and fill in details to tell WHMCS where to put field values. Then when registering domains you would manually walk this new WHMCS module through the process, checking each page looked ok, with WHMCS filling in the details and the user only clicking submit. Just a thought, could be tricky to implement, but it could solve all these non-API problems.

Problem solved. We paid WHMCS to integrate TPP Internet for us and the service from TPP has been brilliant. Have used them for years now, after trying Enetica ( very bad support). Bottle ( same issue with support). Aust Domains ( too long with answers) and a couple of other samll registrars or resellers.

Check the API out in your admin , indtall and register with TPP. They even bulk transfer all your domains and check the operation and process for you. We had duplications during the initial testing and they simply refunded immediately with no questions or delays.

Your alternative si to pay WHMCS to write up the API for you with Enetica but I would look long and hard at their support and costings.
