Account Info On View Cart Page

Hi,

Before I start messing around with how the viewcart.tpl page works, I'm trying gain a better understanding of it. The tabset for "new customer" / "existing customer" - is it essentially a signup/login for your account? If so, is it advisable to remove the login part from the checkout form? As a user, I would have some anxiety going through a whole purchase order and submitting it WHILE logging into my account at the same time. I think I would rather prompt the user to log in at the beginning of the order process instead.

I don't think it would put users off, but you can always try making your edits by using a dev WHMCS license and making backups.

 

That way, you can have a play around without it affecting your live site.
