PV-Patrick Posted March 26, 2013 Share Posted March 26, 2013 I currently have some smarty template code that shows/hides a form field on the order form depending on what product/service a customer has in their cart. In prior versions I could mark the custom field as show on order form and required and it wouldn't get validated as being required if it wasn't displayed on the form. Since 5.2.2, the field now gets validated when it's not even on the form but it's marked as required in the admin backend.
