[UNCONFIRMED] Update Client API (expdate not updating) - version 5.1.5

On version 5.1.5, I cannot update the expdate (Expiry Date) field, for credit card information, using the Update Client API call. I'm using the format MMYY, as described in the WHMCS API documentation. However, nothing I try ever populates the field.

Is anyone else running 5.1.5? If so, can someone please try this on their 5.1.5 implementation? Are you able to update the expdate field via the "Update Client" API call on a client record? It doesn't update for me with the documented format of MMYY. I'd like to know if I'm the only one experiencing this, or if in fact it is broken in 5.1.5.

After further investigation, it appears this issue only occurs when using the internal API. If you use the external API, the expdate field updates just fine.

Why is this issue not showing up in the Bug Reports forum anymore. It is not fixed. I have had a ticket open since 3/25 with no resolution.

Would someone from WHMCS PLEASE look at my ticket (GHH-611934)? It has been open since 3/25, and I updated with my connection information on 4/17. This really needs to be resolved. It is preventing me from finishing development on a module.
