Jinx13
Hey Currently on Version: 5.1.3 and there is an upgrade. Upon going to downloads I see many versions some are 5.2... But I see WHMCS V5.1.5 Stable Release [FULL VERSION] - Download15th Mar 2013 - The latest stable release of the previous version of WHMCS - full package for new installs and upgrades from 5.1.2 or earlier So what version do I need and why is this older version the newest? Thank you
JamesWill
Jinx13, I strongly suggest BEFORE doing ANYTHING - open a tech support ticket with WHMCS and ask them for specific instructions for your unique situation. This forum is littered with people that rushed in and ended up with BROKEN WHMCS.
WHMCS Chris
Hello, 5.1.5 is the latest point release for the 5.1 series. 5.2.2 is the latest for the 5.2 series. Some users don't upgrade all the way, which is why we provide multi-versioned point releases such as 5.1.5, however you can jump to 5.2.2 without going from 5.1.3 > 5.1.5 > 5.2.2 Additionally, if you'd like a development license to test the upgrade on first - just submit a ticket requesting one. Regards,
