Strats
I was wondering, how you guys setup the dedicated IP option in the shared hosting packages. If I add it as an addon, then the billing cycle has to be set to something settle. I was wondering if there is a way to make the billing cycle of the ded.IP to be flexible, to be as what the client chooses for his hosting package. Thanks
DataHosts
To my knowledge all add-ons are done monthly. It would be nice, but not needed to make the sys work great.
Strats
As far as I see the addon is not limited to be done monthly. Admin can choose monthly, quarterly, semianually, anually etc. The question to have the flexibility to assign to it what ever the client choose for his hosting package. Is this possible? If not, what do you recommend?
joe123
add your IP address as Configurable Option and the client will be charged according to the billing cycle he selects in the hosting package. If your Ip costs $2/month and the client selects an annual payment term with the hosting package then he will be charged $24 for the IP.
Strats
Thanks a lot Joe123! That's exactly what I was looking for
Strats
Ups, one more question, with the above setup of joe123, how do you find out if customer has ordered dedicated ip? The only difference is in the total price which doesn't make it obvious. Is there any other notification that I missed?
