Segmentation Fault errors

I use Debian 4.0 Etch...

 

Installed the OS system.... Apache2.2 + PhP5.2.3 and ......

I use DirectAdmin.....

 

Everything is configured but when WHMCS want to connect to DA and create the account on DA side, I just see blank page in my browser and in Apache Error log appears the:

child pid 21006 exit signal Segmentation fault 

 

 

????? help

I did not have the Zend Optimizer installed so installed (now) the:

 

ZendOptimizer-3.0.1-linux-glibc21-i386.tar.gz

 

but I still get the ...

 

[Tue Aug 21 20:52:49 2007] [notice] child pid 1273 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

 

 

.... to what version you rolled back....? cause...

 

I uninstalled the above version and installed right now...

 

ZendOptimizer-3.0.1-linux-glibc21-i386.tar.gz

 

and still the same error ... wow

 

It is like looking for invisible man..... it hits you in a head and you don't know what is goin on ....

well, you could double check what that pid corresponds to when the seg fault happens.

 

also, I said PHP Apache but it could also be just the apache build or some other drivers on the box.

 

best place to start is your logs.

A few other thoughts speaking with our techs:

 

If you are running apache2, recompile it with with_debug=yes

In your extensions.ini, you can comment and uncomment the php extensions to find out if one of those is the culprit.

Also, have you asked your host to look at the problem at hand? It could even be a driver that is the culprit.
