How to setup upfronts payment for certain products

Hello,

I'm not sure if this can be already done... but I guess not

 

I created some products (not hosting products, just services)

and I'd like to setup an upfront payment for them, so that when the

client order them he is automatically redirected to an invoice

with 50% of the total... while the remaining 50% should be paid through

a second invoice generated after the work has been completed

 

It's true that I can tell by mail to the client to pay just the 50%,

but as a matter of fact the invoice is being generated with the total price,

so if he chooses to pay with e.g. paypal, then he is forced to pay everything immediately.

 

Any suggestions on how I could solve this?
