Non-hourly billable item

Hi,

 

I am sure I missing something obvious but must be looking in the wrong places.

 

I am invoicing a client for stock art purchased. I created a billable item and it saved with the cost as an hourly rate. I thought that was what Time Billing Entries was for?

 

I went back and edited the description, no problem, but I am wondering if anyone could share an easier way to add this type of transaction.

Easiest way to invocie a client for something that you dont want to setup as an (one-time) product is click invoce, past in the details, send email

Thanks. Yeah, I've done that too.

 

I am looking for a way to add billable items as I am working on the project, then when the project is done, create the invoice. The add billable items works, its just odd (and annoying) that it is adding everything as hourly so I have to go back and fix it each time.
