Managing web development cost + hosting from company website - URGENT

TimeIsMoney

Question

Hi,

How can web development + hosting costs be managed from a company website. People by the website online and their hosting account needs to be created and they have to be charged monthly. I have been told this can all be automated using Paypal and WHMCS, where can I get more information on how to do that? Is this an easy process, what kind of work is involved?

Looking forward to your feedback!

Hi!

Automated Hosting deployment, billing (multiple terms), payment processing, support tickets, etc can all be automated through WHMCS. Setup is simple, and you could be on your way in under 20 minutes from start to finish. Have you checked out the demo?

http://demo.whmcs.com

If I plan on using Paypal, which of their solutions do I need: Standard, Advanced or Pro? Get it be done with Standard, considering I charge monthly recurring fees for hosting?

Also, I looked at the demo and I find it too complicated for nothing. All I want is something very simple like:

- Website: x$

- Hosting: y$ (recurring, monthly).

- Taxes

- Total

No domain selection or anything. Could I add that manually later after talking to the customer over the phone if they need a domain name?

With Paypal, when you click a BUY NOW button, you are taken to a payment page. You pay and you are done.

Can the same thing be accomplished using WHMCS? I don't want a bunch of steps. I just want my customer to pay for his website and tell him there will be recurring monthly fees for the hosting and show him the amount. Later, I will contact him and ask him if he needs anything else like a domain name, etc.

Could I add options later manually to a WHMCS account, things like a domain name?

Do I need to use Paypal Pro, or can I use the free version?

Can I get a very simple payment page, without having a 5 step process to checkout?

Thanks!
