i was trying to use this script which alleges that when an account is created in whm, (scripts/wwwacct) calls this script after the account is created. This script will then modify files in the skeleton directory adding variables to pages.

cool idea, wish i could get it to work.

but, I cant get it to work.

Question, when an account is created with WHMCS, is WHMCS doing the account creation, or are you using WHM's scripts/wwwacct file to create accounts.

any reason this would not work with WHMCS?

Why you want to use this???

postwwwacct script - to give temporary /~username access <<< you can make this from WHM

postwwwacct script - to send automatic email <<< WHMCS already do that for you

postwwwacct script - to modify skeleton files upon account creation << We make this using php file. no need

About Why account creation not working what error WHMCS gives you?

ok, maybe its a cpanel 11 thing. ill try to mess with it another day.

Why would I want to use this?.. think about it, its a great feature.

Perfect example:

installing a cms for a client.

rather than having to go into the config file later, you just have this script set the variables upon account creation using the customers cpanel variables (user name, password, domain), etc.

since 99% of my clients use a cms, it would save me a lot of config time upon account creation.

they updated it with a bunch of variables, one is the password.

I'm thinking its a cpanel 11 thing cause the whm account add script no longer calls the script by name, so i think this has been depreciated in 11. i may be able to add it manually. got to play with it.

thanks
