Horvath2012
I have searched and searched, but I can not find any info on the Max allowed file size allowed in a support ticket. I can find the "Allowed File Attachment Types" , That's it. Could someone point me in the correct direction to adjust the MAx size allowed? Is this set in my server end, Or in my WHMSC install ? Many thanks Eric
easyhosting
Max upload sizes are usually server side. if you use cpanel then in the root WHM Server Configuration » Tweak Settings Edited November 21, 2012 by easyhosting

easyhosting
Where are you talking about ? I tried to edit my custom php.ini file, but that didn't seem to work.. Thanks if yoiu have server root access and using cpanel/WHM under Server Configuration look for Tweak Settings and then under PHP you will find cPanel PHP max POST size (maximum: 2,047) with default set to 55MB cPanel PHP max upload size (maximum: 2,047) with default set to 50MB change these and then save. if you dont have root access then you will need to ask your host to change these settings
Horvath2012
Correction the support request does work with the larger upload files, but the client doesn't receive the ticket number or email.. they just get a white page on the browser. The support request with smaller files works fine, and the client gets a ticket number and email confirmation.. Regards
Horvath2012
cPanel PHP max POST size (maximum: 2,047) with default set to 55MBcPanel PHP max upload size (maximum: 2,047) with default set to 50MB Would this be the same as a custom php.ini file? In my php.ini file my "upload_max_filesize = 50M" and the support request does work with the larger upload files, but the client doesn't receive the ticket number or email.. they just get a white page on the browser. The support request with smaller files works fine, and the client gets a ticket number and email confirmation.. Not sure what that issue is... Maybe a time issue? Something times out? Regards If you have root access then i think the best option is to do from root rather than mess with php.ini files for every client that asks for this to be changed. sometimes changing in the php.ini files does not work
