Hi,

Just thought I would explain to everyone how the BETA Release is going to work.

Firstly, the V2.5 BETA will be released on Monday 31st July. From previous experience, please do not request live support all day asking "Is it ready yet?", or "I can't see where to download it". When it is released, you will clearly be able to find info about it on the site. It will not be out in that morning, it will be out at some point during the day of 31st July and remember we are UK based for timings.

Secondly, on the 31st July, no upgrade script will be released. Why? Because we don't want anyone to upgrade their main installation just yet. This is the BETA testing period, people who download it will be the first ones to use it and as such it is not ready for use in a production environment. Therefore, it would not be wise for anyone to upgrade their live system to it so to ensure this doesn't happen an upgrade script will not be provided with this initial BETA.

All existing customers will be able to get an additional 15 Day License for free in order to run a second installation of the WHMCS V2.5 BETA if they wish alongside their current V2.4 system for testing. All new customers will also get access to the V2.5 BETA.

For anybody who doesn't want to download and install the V2.5 BETA, we will be running three different online installations of the BETA system in order for you to try it out online.

There will be a dedicated section on the forum for posting any bugs you find while testing the V2.5 system and for any requests for things that should be changed. We do not want any bugs found during the BETA testing to be emailed to us or posted on the official Bug Tracker.

Full new feature and changes list coming soon...
