WHMCS V3.2.3 Released

I am pleased to announce the release of WHMCS V3.2.3, the latest stable release of WHMCS. Please visit our client area at http://www.whmcs.com/clients to download your copy today.

 

This update is primarily to update the ProtX module and introduce the 3D Secure system now required for accepting Maestro cards as of 1st August. 3D Secure is also added to the Quantum Gateway module.

 

Major credit card associations have introduced 3D Secure authentication to help reduce fraud. Similar to “Chip and Pin”, 3D Secure requires cardholders to enter a password to authenticate themselves for transactions. 3D Secure authenticated transactions usually result in lower transaction fees as there is less chance of fraud.

 

It is a file update only, no database updates needed so you do not need to backup your database before upgrading. For existing users, simple download the changed files package from the client area and upload the files to your WHMCS install overwriting any existing files.
