Ok I have done that but when I do any changes to the code all I get is a blank screen but works fine in microsoft expression web!! Any clues?

I recommend learning how to edit html by hand or paying someone else to do it.

In the style.css file for your template look for the style #wrapper and change the line " border: 0; " or similar to " border: 1px solid #000; " if you don't have " border: 0; " then add the " border: 1px solid #000; " this will add a black border round whmcs.

Change the #000 to use another color for the border.

Don't use the " " in my examples :)
