MYOB Intergration with WHMCS

Hello.

I don't have any answers for you unfortunately. Our company has been using MYOB for years, and we're using WHMCS more and more, and we have an increasingly pressing need to be able to export transactions from WHMCS in such a way that works well in MYOB.

The current challenge our financial controller is reporting is this:

"The export filters are very limited in what I can get from the system that MYOB will recognise, BUT the major hurdle is that WHMCS does not appear to have any ability to store General Ledger account numbers that, when exported, allocate the invoices to an income account in our P&L so basically the export function does not work at this stage with MYOB."

So trying to solve this challenge (above) is priority #1 for us right now.

Hmmm. It appears that we can add custom fields for Products/Services in WHMCS. So I'll be adding one called "General Ledger Account Number", populating this with the codes we use in our business, and then checking that this information can be included as part of the export functionality of WHMCS.

Oh, er, maybe not. The custom fields I think only refer to the ability to collect additional information from the client, and not for the purpose of recording additional admin info for a particular product/server type/category.
