Installation moved to another folder & now login links broken

I have a test install that I've been working with. The site the install existed on was in an add-on domain. This same add-on domain, was then moved to a top level domain. Now the links are broken to the install of WHMCS, so that I cannot login to the system.

My qestion is this, is there a config file where I can fix the links? Also, I'm willing to do a fresh install. However, I don't know how that works with the licensing. If I choose this route (if it is easier than changing the link structure), do I just delete the folder & DB. And will WHMCS license key still work, or will I get an error saying you've entered the license key & can't enter again.

Thanks
