Logging/billing time in ticket

Hello! I am very new to WHMCS, using it for my IT consultation services and not for web hosting. I need the ability to log and bill for time spent on a ticket. In reviewing the documentation for support tickets, I read, "It's also possible to create a billable item for a client upon replying to a ticket. This allows you to generate invoices, or log time spent on a ticket ..."


I was not able to determine how/where to enter my time or use an existing billable item created for an hourly charge. Am I missing something?
