What can I do to insure that my emailed invoices are being received?

There is an option to add the admin as bcc: on all outgoing email

Alternatively, set this up from the mail server

a BCC isnt going to ensure the message actually got delivered to the client.

I'd suggest finding out why they are not receiving them. Check your mail server logs, see if there are any blacklists blocking it, etc.

I have had this issue several times

There is no method to ensure the client has entered a valid email address, it is the clients responsibility

Usually they will contact you if they have not received the welcome emails

So if they have not received the renewal invoices that would be some time later

I have notice on my sign up page that the same Domain Name must not be used, if they do so it is at their own risk

Therefore adding the bcc: ensures it was sent, and you have a copy

Thanks all. I put in all clients email addresses as I use WHMCS differently than most. I thought there may be a setting I missed somewhere that could enhance email getting thru the various SPAM filters.

It could be they just do not want to pay the bill, in which case I do not want to continue hosting their site either :)

Yes, pretty much

I have had a few customers claim they did not receive the invoices, but it did not come back to me

I then resend it, and amazingly they do receive that...

If the email does fail, then I save that email into their account

That way I know their claim is valid

Furthermore, I also suffer with emails from WHMCS being idenitfied as spam

1

My own admin emails are received by Windows Mail

Any with a URL link in them generally end up in the Junk Mail Filter folder, even though I have added the email addresses and Domain Name into the approved list

I conclude that customers would then also suffer this

However, it does NOT occur with welcome emails and invoices

2

My own client emails are received by my ISP (Virgin Media) webmail

The same issue as above where email with a URL link are identified as SPAM and end up in that folder

I therefore added a comment to the initial welcome email to add :

the admin, NOREPLY email address and the website Domain Name to their SPAM approval list, also to check their SPAM folder and identify any incoming email as approved (depending on the client software in use)
