tickets being opened for everything ...

Hi

 

When an invoice is generated / paid or invoice overdue is sent out, I seem to be getting several tickets opened. Also when I reply to a ticket in whmcs - I then get a reply to the ticket from whmcs, which sets it back to customer replied.

 

Example, when an invoice is marked paid ticket is opened under support:

 

from: admin@mydomain.com

Dear customer XYZ,

This is a payment receipt for Invoice 5272 sent on 20/04/2012

 

immediate reply:

 

support@mydomain.com

My Hosting Accounts,

 

Thank you for contacting our support team. A support ticket has now been opened for your request. You will be notified when a response is made by email. The details of your ticket are shown below.

 

Subject: Invoice Payment Confirmation

Priority: Medium

Status: Open

 

Obviously I've missed a setting somewhere - can anyone please point me in the right direction?

bingo - it was an old address on some of the support templates. Really strange as we never had this before until we move the billing to a new server and stopped the 3rd party helpdesk. Fingers crossed thats now fixed - thanks!
