rldev
Can someone tell me what the table color of the main body of the client area home page is supposed to be? Mine is some yellowish color. Is this the default for the new portal template? I can't seem to find this in the style sheet.

GoofyFrog
ill have a look when I have a bit more time, in the meantime you could try uploading http://bluepeneditor.com/ to your server - it's a great utility, simply mouse over any part of a page to see the css info and edit on the fly. It's really handy for things like this.
rldev
Are you sure yours is white when the client logs in?

GoofyFrog
Is this WHMCS integrated with your website design? If so that might be what is causing this maybe a crossover CSS style causing this?
rldev
I have no such color in my css. Also if even if I try the default template, I still get this color when logged in. So it is not my template customization. Something else is lingering from version 4 somehow.
rldev
The techs at WHMCS found the solution to my problem. I never would have found it. I will reprint so that it may help someone else. The issue was my announcement was using HTML and the code for truncating the announcement for display on the client area home page was not taking this into announcement. They changed the following in the clientareahome.tpl file in the templates folder {$announcements.0.text|truncate:100:'...'} To {$announcements.0.text|strip_tags|truncate:100:'...'} and can confirm the same fix will be present in the next version of WHMCS.
