Chainsaw76
Over night I received a invoice payment notification, where a customer had made a payment via liberty reserve. The problem is, I never activated the Liberty Reserve Gateway, I don't have a liberty reserve account, and had never actually heard of them. When I went into WHMCS admin section, and Liberty Reserve was an active gateway, with an account number (but Store name and store secret not filled in). Is there anyway someone could have activated that gate way, or the whmcs upgrade process could have activated it, with an account number? The only way I can think of is someone logged into my WHMCS admin account, and activated it and changed an open invoice to that gateway. Knowing the customer (they have been a customer for 5+ years) it's not likely they would have paid via liberty reserve, and it's even less likely they would have paid their invoice on time (they are always 2 weeks late). Is there a * or other issue I'm overlooking here? -Jason
panacheweb
I would assume you are running the latest version of whmcs downloaded from whmcs... and active support? I would change your passwords for administrators as well..
Andreas
I am having this issue twice this week. I noticed someone created an order and some how is using the Payment Method: Liberty Reserve which I do not have on my WHMCS. I thought I got it fixed, but its happening again. I ended up deleting the module php file for now. I hope this fixes the issues. For me the liberty reserve info was filled in with info. Same info both times.
