kenwardc
Hi Folks Still adding all our clients to WHMCS and have come across something that's made me sit up and worry... We are a VISP with a large number of customers, some with hosting, some with Email, some with broadband, etc. The mix of services is large and complex. We also have a number of "resellers" who bring us their customers for services. With these people we supply the services to the customer but we bill the reseller, not the customer. I've just come across the first one of these and not sure how to proceed to ensure that the customer never sees the invoices and to ensure the invoices go correctly to the reseller. The first reseller also gets services from us for themselves, so I've added them to WHMCS as a customer in the normal way. Now that I've come across the first of their reseller's customers, I decided to enter the customer as normal and add the reseller as a sub-account or contact. It was then that I realised this won't stop the invoices going to the customer! OOPS? SO - my question is this: How would the experts do this? Would you add the reseller's customer to their "normal" account as a sub-account and just not tick any of the boxes for invoices etc.? If the answer is YES to the above, then what if the reseller has many customers and they all have different billing cycles, for example, one may be annual, one may have chosen monthly etc.?? Would you still invoice them all as normal under the reseller's account? How would you cope with the different dates and/or services or will WHMCS handle that anyway? Apologies for the long, drawn-out question. Hope someone can throw some light on this for me. Cheers Chris
