Salman75
Hi, I have seen that WHMCS does not process many things simultaneously. For example, if you open 3 or more browser windows for account installation / termination. It will process one account then wait for the server return code, then begin processing the next window. The same happens even we are installing / terminating across different servers.
ppc
Interesting. Matt, any ideas?
MACscr
its not supposed to. I dont know what your thinking by opening multiple windows for that type of thing.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted July 19, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted July 19, 2007 Well it's not like it's coded to wait, that's just the way your server handles it. Matt
Salman75
Actually its not a server issue. We also have WHMAP installed on the same server and we never came across this kind of behaviour with it. So I will assume its something to do with WHMCS.
trine
I had to test this one on our install, and it doesn't do what you say. Maybe you have something locking your tables ?
ppc
Yeah, I did the same as well. It does not wait for the first action to complete.
Salman75
Thanks for helping me test. I will now check and see what is locking the tables.
othellotech
For example, if you open 3 or more browser windows for account installation / termination. It will process one account then wait for the server return code, then begin processing the next window. If you're using CPanel11/WHM this is a deliberate "feature" of the control panel Just try opening 3 browsers in WHM and terminating 3 accounts - each waits 10 secs and checks again until the others has finished.
Salman75
Thats weird .... I wonder how cpanel developers can come up with "features" like this and still not get some other really important ones added.
