meldominguez
I have a few invoices that were created already in USD. However, I need to know if there is a way to create a new invoice for the same product/service, but instead of it being created in USD, that it is created in a different currency. I have already created another currency in settings, and they are already added to the products/services pricing modules. What I'm doing is going to a client's profile, and changing his currency from USD to MXN. Then the invoices change from USD to MXN, but with the same amount as if it was USD. The conversion is not being made to MXN. For example: When USD is chosen as the currency, invoices show: 99 USD. When MXN is chosen as the currency, invoices show: 99 MXN. The conversion is not done. So how can I make invoices autoconvert to a different currency? Thank you very much! Edited March 26, 2012 by meldominguez
othellotech
The conversion is not done. So how can I make invoices autoconvert to a different currency? WHMCS doesn't "support" you changing Currency. If you've edited the client, then you will need to change the amounts on their invoice(s) yourself.

wsd
You must be very careful when you use multiple currencies in WHMCS that stands well enough that it Multi-Currency Billing. That's because WHMCS is not an accounting system, so WHMCS do not have built currency management, There are so many shortcomings in the management of currency that I would not recommend some that use more than one currency. I thought in the beginning that I should now to offer both DKK, €, £ and $ but I have come on other thoughts. If a customer signs up with $ as the currency, and tendons wish to pay in €, it can go really wrong if you changed it and why, so that. Credit Balance becomes equal to DKK 743.00 so I just lose DKK 177.00 If I do not just is aware of the DKK = 1.00000 EUR = 0.13441 USD = 0.17665 1.00 EUR = DKK 7.43992 1.00 USD = DKK 5.66091 Paid 2 ($440.91 USD) Unpaid/Due 0 ($0.00 USD) Cancelled 0 ($0.00 USD) Refunded 0 ($0.00 USD) Collections 0 ($0.00 USD) Income $420.91 USD Credit Balance $100.00 USD Paid 2 (440,91 EUR) Unpaid/Due 0 (0,00 EUR) Cancelled 0 (0,00 EUR) Refunded 0 (0,00 EUR) Collections 0 (0,00 EUR) Income 420,91 EUR Credit Balance 100,00 EUR
