Upgrade 5.0.2 -> 5.0.3 I get "Gateway Module is Missing" errors sending emails

We just upgraded our installation from 5.0.2 to 5.0.3 using the incremental update. When we logged in we did not get redirected to an upgrade script, though not sure if we should have or not. Using "Check for Updates" under the help menu shows we are up-to-date.

The problem: We have a client that we bill using payment method "Mail in Payment". When we try to manually send them the Invoice Created email (or any other email), we are redirected to a blank page with only the message:

Gateway Module is Missing

The exact same operation worked without issue before the upgrade. We have not made any other changes to our settings on our system.

I am thinking something in this new version requires a tweak, but I cannot any information anywhere.

Does any one have a suggestion on how I can trouble shoot this?

Many thanks.

take a look at the tblinvoice record - you've either got a blank or a gateway you've disabled on it (picked up from the clients default or the product)

correcting that through WHMCS or by PHP will fix your issue

I've seen this when people still had paypal as multiple types on the invoices/products/domains, or had (mistakenly) deleted or not upload all the gateways they used
