v5 bug? first-payment amount

Never actually used this option before (with v4), but when i put in first-payment of 345 and recurring of 360, it used 360 when it generated the invoice.

 

It's possible I'm not "understanding" what first-payment means, but i wasn't able to find anything in the documentations about this.

 

Any help here is appreciated, I'm not sure if v5 broke it, or It's always worked like this.

Are you trying to change it for an existing service? The first payment amount in an existing service would have already been invoiced. That should really never be changed.

 

If you're trying to charge a setup fee, there are boxes for that in the product configuration.

 

If you're trying to give a discount on the first billing cycle, you'll want to use a promotion.
