theman777
til now, we did not use cron Job except the one for support-Emails. Now we would like to use cron Job. So fare we did all the settings. But i was wondering what will happen to those clients which are overdue. Will they get all the mails: unpaid reminder, first overdue reminder, etc. or even get suspended? And if a new client order something, does the whmcs send him also this invoice unpaid reminder and suspend him after several days? The second question is: In the client Profile - Domains, i see the Registration Date: 12.10.2011 Expiry Date: 00.00.0000 Next Due Date: 12.10.2011 In automation Settings i set 30 Days before the due payment date to generate invoices. So why is Next Due Date not 21.09.2012 Thanks for your Help, and sorry for my bad english Screenshot: Edited March 1, 2012 by theman777
tripler
In automation Settings i set 30 Days before the due payment date to generate invoices. So why is Next Due Date not 21.09.2012 Its because your not running crons to update the expiry dates. Yes you will probably have emails being sent out when you start using them, set all of them to run at 12 midnight, except your email cron and escalation (if you use it) Then invoices, domains, billing, etc will be processed once a day. There should be about 4 cron jobs running: Mail Admin (billing eetc) Escalations Domains (whichever registrar your using) Just email your customers that you are going to update your billing system in case there's a problem.
