WHMCS 4 themes on v5

Hello,

 

Is it possible to use WHMCS 4 themes on WHMCS 5 ?

I don't like v5 theme. Also we have designed a template for our v4 last year. I don't want to change my theme.

Is it possible to use this theme on v5 ?

I would assume that if you wanted to use a v4 theme on v5 you would need to map out all the change logs and see what would be effected

 

language files, code changes in the tpls etc etc, would take a bit of time, and get flustering to do it right but totally doable.

 

Just take a big white board and figure out everything you need to change. Though I say just creating your own template that fits will take the same amount of time.

 

I have no intentions of upgrading from v4 for this reason, we basically strayed off with our own implementations and v5 for us would be actually kinda a step backward.

So you mean it's not necessary to upgrade to v5 ?

There is not any security or vulnerability fixes in v5 ?

Is v4 still safe ?

There are added features in v5 but, for me, not enough to deal with the hassle of an upgrade.

 

v4 is insecure if you have not updated with the latest security patch. http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=43462

i love the V5 and the cool looks of the default v5 template but i want to know how to add tyhe client area navigation sidebar to the v5 default template.
