tripler
So in hopes of saving a evening of redbull & redeye I want to see if someone else already has =0 We want to brand our ow ID protected registration under our parent corps name, that way we dont have to pass the cost onto our customers. Not only can we pass some cost but also lower our margins but be a tad more competitive. We of course already disallow the clients to populate billing/tech/admin however there is "currently" no way to allow for our corporation to default the registrant. Does anyone have a quick fix or any suggestion on this. if: private registration checked then: do not ask the enom api for private registration then: populate registrant fields with default corporate info else: populate their info Cheers

Thats a quick way for all your client domains to get deleted or disabled - you *MUST* provide the registrar with the correct details of the registrant contact
tripler
Theres nothing against proxy registrations. We have a contact and registered agent. Whois would provide sufficient contact details, phone, email, address. How do you think other "id protect" services work.
othellotech
Theres nothing against proxy registrations The Registry T&C's of all real "registrars" make it clear the registrant details are to be provided. Obfuscating them is grounds to immediately fail a WDRP check and lose the domain. How do you think other "id protect" services work. As an ICANN Acccredited Domain Registrar, I know exactly how id-protection works, what the obligations on the id-protection providers are, what regulation to outlaw unregulated services is in progress and how many hundreds of thousands of domains have been taken away from people due to fake whois data by "poxy" services
