tomb
Hello, I know this sounds really stupid but how do you handle your own domains? Do you administer them offsite or in WHMCS? I would love to use WHMCS as domain management tool, but I don't need a invoice. Is there any way to disable invoices as admin user?
m8internet
This is the setup I use Account 1 is the business client and has all the Domain Names and services I operate Account 2 is my personal client and has no Domain Names or services The payment method selected is free account, I then don't receive any invoices from WHMCS, where they are used for Hosting purposes The payment method selected is Mail in Payment, I then receive an invoice from WHMCS, where they are used for business purposes (and where a receipt is required)
othellotech
Yes, we have an "account" in WHMCS which we register our own domains and services through

Rae
Anther method is to create a Promotion with a price override of 0.00 for all domain types in your system and then apply that promotion to all of your own domains. I'd also suggest that you name the promotion something that will be difficult to guess just to be on the safe side.

tripler
We manage our own domains in a custom built back-end using our providers api. It is not wise to go through the trouble of having any of your assets on your whmcs(company) its easier accounting wise as well. Same thing for the hosting account not just the domain, your website should no be on any of your boxes for redundancy and accounting.
