CavalloComm
I have been trying for days to get the Live Chat license working. There seems to be a couple issues for me at least, and I followed the instrictions exactly as described. 1 - When trying to login to the desktop app, it says Result was not XML 2 - When trying to login with BOTH IE or Firefox, both Windows and MAC, the first screen I get is the "Open a new administration window". THIS FIRST SCREEN has "" no quotes in the top left corner - and it's showing before the doctype - but can't find it anywhere! Not sure of that matters. 3 - Once I click on the link in number 2 above I login and get: AUTHENTICATION ERROR: Your Authentication Cookie could not be found, please ensure cookies are enabled. - again with those funny characters in the top left. 4 - When trying to login via Web Browser, I was getting that white screen but now I get this new error and YES templates_c is writable and has been written to.. NOTE: My logs do show this: C:\(REPLACED)\httpdocs\portal\modules\livehelp\admin\index.php at line 0 (Debug Trace: userErrorHandler() at line 0 within C:\(REPLACED)\httpdocs\portal\modules\livehelp\admin\index.php) 2012-01-24 12:51:37 PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\(REPLACED)\httpdocs\portal\configuration.php:15) C:\(REPLACED)\httpdocs\portal\modules\livehelp\styles\styles.php at line 36 (Debug Trace: header() at line 36 within C:\(REPLACED)\httpdocs\portal\modules\livehelp\styles\styles.php) Any ideas?
CavalloComm
Also to add on to this - my database tables are all Latin_1 (our defaults). When LiveHelp was installed, looks like those tables are UTF8 My store is setup as UTF8 as I just left it that way to begin with and never even thought about an issue like this and havent made any changes. Could this be an issue relating to above?
smullen
FYI, A fix for livehelp install is to "help > check for updates" and try again. (It worked for me
And then there was one les
Please also note, the live chat module has two different versions available, make sure that you are installing the correct one for your version of WHMCS.
