petey318
For domain registrars, I understand that although you can configure multiple registrars, you need to select one (and only one) registrar for each particular domain type. So in the following example, I've selected registrars for three domain types as shown: registrar A: .com registrar B: .com.au, .net.au At some point in the future, suppose I decide to change, and use registrar B for .com's also, instead of registrar A. How are existing customers handled (ie those who are with registrar A for .com domains)? Does WHMCS automatically funnel all renewals etc through the "correct" registrar module? Does the WHMCS "client area" similarly handle these domain registrars correctly if I change registrars later? A client may end up with multiple domains in WHMCS, all of the same type eg ".com", each of which are managed with different registrars - are these handled correctly, especially in the WHMCS "client area"? petey318
answers own question multiple domain registrars seem to be handled correctly, in the example above, customers who were with registrar A will of course have that registrar selected, even if the default for new registrations is changed to registrar B.
othellotech
every domain in whmcs can have a different registrar associated with it, entirely different to what registrar you want *new* domain orders to be registered through
