isixhosting
Hi, I have a new version 5.0.3 installed, everything works fine, just the frontend (the top menu bar) doesn't show the menu properly in Internet Explorer 7. The black menu backround is behind the main area. Can anybody help me with the css or another fix? Thanks
Sitepearl
Almost looks like a z-index issue, but I could be wrong.

Sitepearl
The way IE7 handles z-index are extremely weird. Like it wants to render higher indexes behind lower ones. Google "z-index IE7" and you'll see what I mean.

Google "z-index IE7" and you'll see what I mean. Hi, thanks for your reply. I found many articles regarding this issue and tried to alter my css files, but without a success - this would need to be fixed from WHMCS developers, because their own demo site has the bug in IE7 as well: http://demo.whmcs.com/ Edited January 19, 2012 by indy0077

ramsy
Turning off compatibility modus in IE fixes the problem. *Edit That's for IE9. Who uses IE7 these days?
laszlof
That's for IE9. Who uses IE7 these days? Agreed. Its difficult to enough to make sites behave with the latest version of IE, let alone one thats at least 2 major releases behind.
