ramystyle
The current address on whmcs is whois.crsnic.net for .com domain names. Where can I find alternatives addresses for .com domain names ? Anyone have any suggestions ? Thanks

Spunky
Really dont get what your saying but i can try explaining. If you want more domains like sellwebhost.net to bring you to sellwebhost.com you can do this. Register a new domain point it to your name servers. Go to sellwebhost.com cpanel and click parked domains. Insert the domain you just registered.
STECHUSA
Hello ramystyle, If you are looking for another whois server to check from, you could use: whois.verisign-grs.com. The domain not found line is: No match for domain Hope it helps.
ramystyle
Spunky, you missunderstood my request.. When you login to whmcs, click Configurations, then click DOMAIN PRICING, you'll see a list of WHOIS Server ! STECHUSA, thanks for the address ! It works.. But here is my problem and why I wanted a different address.. When I whois a domain name registered by us (selwebhost.com) it shows that it was registered by enom : Registrar: ENOM, INC. Whois Server: whois.enom.com Referral URL: http://www.enom.com Name Server: NS1.SELLWEBHOST.COM Name Server: NS2.SELLWEBHOST.COM Other whois addresses say that it was registered by enom THROUGH sellwebhost.com... Not just enom... But I can't find those whois addresses..
LFCII
Hi Ramystyle. I am not sure exactly which ones you are looking for, but, I am thinking a Google of whois servers list should get something for you. Kind Regards, Les
Phile
I too would like the Whois to display as registered through 123reg.com instead of just enom or directi as it confuses clients as to where they registered the name if they forget(and alot seem to)
othellotech
simple answer - you cant. what you get returned by a whois is the basic information exposed by the particular registry involved. *sometimes* there is more information to be obtained by querying that registry directly - and for a number of them, thats only possible either using their whois webpage and captcha codes, or by payment for the pleasure there is a fair amount of code, and cost, involved in doing full recursive queries of whois data - a good example of what can be achieved with some tme, effort and a few hundred thousand dollars - whois.domaintools.com
yamaharr1
If I understand correctly you are looking for a list of the registries so you can query them. If this is correct I just uploaded a list, it is not a complete list but has many of them alreay. You can find the down load in this thread http://forum.whmcs.com/showpost.php?p=89966&postcount=27
yamaharr1
O sorry I misunderstood you also. I believe the setting you are looking for is in the Enom account itself, you have to set up your business name. I have set mine and only my information comes up in the WHOIS but do remember the Enom will turn up as the ICANN Registrar there is nothing you can do about this.
