jaatendi
Hi, I created a couple short screen capture videos in which I outline some modifications I want to make to my WHMCS instance. I am not a programmer and I showed these videos to someone who is. They said that the changes I want to make are not possible because the code I want to change is encrypted. If some members of this community could take a look at the the videos I made and comment, I would be hugely appreciative. The intent of the changes I want to make are to increase usability, and convert more visitors to sales. Perhaps there are others ways to accomplish what I want to do. Here are the links to the videos: http://webgooroo.ca/changes/Webhosting,background.swf http://webgooroo.ca/changes/freewebsite,domains.swf All suggestions appreciated!
Sitepearl
Most of the stuff you want changed can be done by editing the .tpl files and using jQuery or straight-up Javascript. Tom
jaatendi
OK, that is encouraging to hear. I'm guessing some of my changes are definitely possible, while others perhaps not, but can be accomplished through alternative means. Did any of the changes jump out as being definitely possible or not possible?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 17, 2012 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 17, 2012 I can confirm that everything you want to do is possible simply via template edits and customisations - the core system files being encrypted would not restrict what you in any way for what you want to do here.
