MichaelGMorgan
Hi all, I've recently set up WHMCS. I was originally using my own self-developed invoicing system which I used to manually keep track of peoples orders and products. I spent a couple hours importing all my data and so far everything is working perfectly. I have just one issue. I have a client who is paying for hosting, he has an active product which is being invoiced every month. Right now there is an unpaid invoice sitting in his account which was auto-created by his product (which is monthly recurring). There is no "subscribe to paypayl" button showing on the invoices. The only option he has is a single payment checkout with PayPal. When signing up for new services the subscribe button is visible. So basically, how can my client subscribe to a recurring PayPal subscription for en existing and active product. Thanks!

PayPal subscriptions can only be created before the invoice due date has been reached. PayPal will send the subscription payment on the same date each month, so if the customer was able to create a subscription on a late invoice, PayPal would pay their invoices late every month from then on.
MichaelGMorgan
The invoice date created was 09/01/2012 and its due date is 23/01/2012 which is about a week in the future (15/01 today). There is just no subscribe now button.
Sitepearl
Do you have subscriptions enabled?
MichaelGMorgan
Yes, subscriptions are enabled. I know this for sure because when placing new orders customers are given the option to subscribe.
