brandom9 Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Hi all, After upgrading to 5.x, when clients make payment via PayPal, Paypal do not update the payment automatically anymore. When the page returns to Billing once payment is made, the invoice is still mark as 'Unpaid'. This never happened before we upgraded to 5.x Please help ASAP, URGENT. wsa Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 BR This what Matt @WHMCS tell me to do What this indicates is that the receiver_email coming back from PayPal does not match the email address you have set in Setup > Payment Gateways and thus WHMCS is unable to validate it was truly you that received the payment. That field in Setup > Payment Gateways > PayPal named "Email" supports multiple entries so if needed, you can specify more than one address as a comma separated list, and then the first will be used for new payments from users but any you enter allowed through and accepted as valid payments.
