danwednesday Posted December 30, 2011 Share Posted December 30, 2011 Hi, I'm having this issue with a new installation of WHMCS v5. I've tried pretty much every single combination of non-SSL, SSL and TLS and ports 25, 465 and 587 in my mail settings but all I get are errors when I try to send any email from WHMCS. Typically when I use TLS it errors saying: Email Sending Failed - Language string failed to load: tls When I send using SSL or no SSL it errors saying: Email Sending Failed - SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. I'm sure the GMail details are correct. I've tried using smtp.gmail.com, smtp.mydomain.com, ssl://smtp.gmail.com and tls://smtp.gmail.com too. Just NOTHING will work. Could it be some kind of problem with the PHP installation? I'm on a windows server running PHP 5 and Plesk.
