PayPal Issues

Should be fine then

 

Login to your PayPal account

Click on Profile -> My Selling Preferences

 

Website Preferences -> Update

Set Auto Return to ON

Enter the URL to your WHMCS installation (if you don't know you can come back to this as it is required below)

Click Save

 

API Access -> Update

View API Signature (if nothing shows then select Grant API Permission)

Copy those details to WHMCS

Setup -> Payment Gateways -> PayPal

Insert the API password and Signature

Save (note the URL for IPN)

Return to PayPal

 

Instant payment notifications -> Update

Turn IPN ON

Insert the URL (from above)

Receive IPN (Enabled) selected

Save

Logout of PayPal

 

Now perform a test transaction in your WHMCS and compare

Hero! It was the Auto Return that was causing the issue. Thanks for your help.
