othellotech
All very nice and ajaxy A few immediate problems noted on the demo ... 1. After searching for and selecting a domain and chosing a package Clicking on the "categories" links loses the domain name. 2. Going back in an order to the Choose Domains stage selecting "transfer" and putting in something which doesnt exist reports status "Unavailable" when it means "Doesnt exist so cannot be transferred" 3. At order.pgp GID 0001 Selecting package starter Selecting reg a new domain After the domain search shows the results it "loses" the radio button 4. Selecting all the domains "Available! Order Now" 1 year and clicking "Click to Continue" gives a pink error # You did not enter a domain name # 5. No obvious way to "undo" a last action - for exampe after selecting Google checkout, wanted to go back and pick paypal invoice but options not available (yet displayed) - recommend having an "CHANGE" button next to each "completed" stage to make it simple on the user as using the browsers back option a. gives the user a message about POST b. seems to screw the data up 6.After placing an order, chosing to "update nameservers on existing domain" viewing the hosting in the client area does not show the domain... http://demo.whmcs.com/clientarea.php?action=productdetails Product/Service: Hosting Packages - Starter Package Domain: - 7. When ordering multiple domains from the checker, at the package selection stage http://demo.whmcs.com/order.php?order=domains it would help if it shows the domains in the "cart" 8. Its not clear if the hosting with a multiple domain order is *per domain* or just one hosting account ? If just one, how do you select the main domain to be hosted on http://demo.whmcs.com/order.php?order=domains ?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted July 3, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted July 3, 2007 3. Order Now" 1 year and clicking "Click to Continue" gives a pink error # You did not enter a domain name # Already reported issue with FireFox. 5. No obvious way to "undo" a last action - for exampe after selecting Google checkout, wanted to go back and pick paypal invoice but options not available (yet displayed) - recommend having an "CHANGE" button next to each "completed" stage to make it simple on the user as using the browsers back option It's the same as it's always been - three buttons - change package, change domain and change configurable options to go back. 8. Its not clear if the hosting with a multiple domain order is *per domain* or just one hosting account ? If just one, how do you select the main domain to be hosted on http://demo.whmcs.com/order.php?order=domains ? Should be perfectly clear. There is only one hosting account listed and only one fee listed. And as has already been discussed, it's the domain the user enters which is the main domain. Will look into the other issues. WHMCS CEO Matt Posted July 4, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted July 4, 2007 1. After searching for and selecting a domain and chosing a packageClicking on the "categories" links loses the domain name. Yes, this is the equivalent of going back a step so the domain will be lost. 2. Going back in an order to the Choose Domains stageselecting "transfer" and putting in something which doesnt exist reports status "Unavailable" when it means "Doesnt exist so cannot be transferred" It means the domain is unavailable for transfer - can be changed by the template file if needed 6.After placing an order, chosing to "update nameservers on existing domain" viewing the hosting in the client area does not show the domain...http://demo.whmcs.com/clientarea.php?action=productdetails Product/Service: Hosting Packages - Starter Package Domain: - This is a bug and will be corrected. 7. When ordering multiple domains from the checker, at the package selection stage http://demo.whmcs.com/order.php?order=domains it would help if it shows the domains in the "cart" After coming from the domain checker it shows the results and selections from the domain checker.
