Hi

I got this instance where by my customer decided to pay his invoice for the period:

(09/12/2011 - 08/01/2012)

he decided to pay that TODAY (22-12-2011)

and he is surprised that his next renewal is (8-01-2012)

so he would be getting less than a month subscription !

how to resolve this in a good way using WHMCS ?

Should I refund him his money and ask him to place a new order and get issued a new invoice from the day he actually placed the order ?

Or can I just change the next due date manually and set it 30 days latter from the date he actually made the payment ? (but again would his NEXT invoice be issued correctly or will it still have to do anything with the old period

Effectively, the customer is in arrears (should have paid on or before 09 December 2011) and has paid for the period to 08 January 2012 only , and that is when the next payment is due

Did you suspend the customers account on, or after, 09 December 2011?

If so, then revise the renewal date in the product to the latest payment date, 22/12/2011 -> 21/01/2012

I would do that as a goodwill gesture as their website was probably still visible but not active (suspended status)

Im pretty sure that if you go into the customers order and change the next due date, to the correct date, the next invoice is generated (if annual payment is selected) exactly a year from the NEW NEXT DUE date

The OP is referring to monthly payments, December 2011 to January 2012
