I'm not a pro at cpanel or whmcs so just wanted to ask how this works.

I created Products/Hosting packages on whmcs. Does that create packages in whm/cpanel?

I dont see anythere so wasn't sure how that worked.

You have to create the packages in WHM/Cpanel, with the same name as in WHMCS

Equally, I suggest you copy the exact configuration details, as I noticed I had set a number of mail boxes in WHMCS but WHM had ignored this and set unlimited in error

You will also need to setup the Servers and access between WHMCS and WHM

Work your way through all these sections, especially the right hand column, a lot to read but it doesn't take that long

http://docs.whmcs.com/Main_Page

During the setup I suggest you keep two windows open, one for WHM and one for WHMCS

Once you have completed the setup, create 2 new clients

Make number 1 for your business (company) and number 2 for your yourself (personal)

You can then use client 2 for testing purposes, creating products, services, orders, quotes, payments, etc

If using PayPal import the details from your account, and perform at least one sandbox test payment

Once you have confirmed these all work, delete them

Next go back to the setup and return the invoice numbers back to 1 (as the tests will have incremently increased this)

Finally, setup client 1 with your actual reseller services
