Domain pricing

Hello,

If I have the following price structure for domains for retail sales:

 

$20/year 1 year

$19/year 2 year

$18/year 3 years

etc....

$11/year 10 years

 

and I have a reseller, that I want to give a flat rate of $10/year whether it is one year or ten. Is this possible? A coupon wouldnt apply properly I don't think. What I am seeking is basically a way to have two pricing structures for domains in the backend, then I can have a reseller order form with his prices, and a normal retail order form for the others.

 

What I do now is flag the domain orders to go to pending, then when I am notified of the new order, I simply login and manually change his rate on the order, and then process it. And then go to emails, and delete the previous email that went out showing the full price.

 

Any thoughts on how to better handle this?

Nope there is no other way than to create two products at different costs.

 

This is another case where Group Pricing would be a nice feature request.... but it is not likely to happen

Same Problem Here !!!!! Need separate pricing per customer or at least per group.

 

A coupon simply doesnt work for me for this and its a real pain at the moment to do this as i have to manually readjust the price for the customer after the order and re-invoice them.

 

I have many customers with who i have had to match other registrars prices to get their business but that means a simple coupon wont work as some of them order a .com and a .com.au for their clients and i have different discounts for each type of domain so a simple % discount wont work. Neither will a fixed price discount as they may want the .com for 3 years etc..

 

I really hat to make them place separate orders and make their life difficult when other companies can do this simply.

 

Customers also don't really care about the technical aspects of why and why not they just want things to be as easy as possible and at the moment this is not the case at all for me or them.

 

Please Matt can you do something about this issue as you can see there are many people who would love this and need this feature.

 

We want to make this THE BEST hosting billing system out there right and not "almost good enough"
