PaymentSense Payment Gateway and Addon Modules Bundle for WHMCS.

Recommended Posts

Overview

This bundle comprises a PaymentSense Payment Gateway Module and a PaymentSense Addon Module and allows you to process transactions via the PaymentSense 'Hosted' Gateway service where the customer is redirected to the PaymentSense secure server to enter their card details resulting in 100% PCI compliance and complete peace of mind for the user.

The module logs all data to the WHMCS gateway log and also to a separate table used by the 'Transactions' Addon.

The 'Transactions' Addon Module allows the user to easily keep track of both successful and failed transactions and has a comprehensive search facility as well as 'jump to page', prev/next page navigation links and the ability to set the number of records displayed per page.

These modules are encoded with ionCube and require a license key to operate. The license key is obtained from your client area at or after the point of purchase and is linked to your domain on first use.

Requirements

  • WHMCS v4.5.2 or higher (May work with older releases but not tested)
  • ionCube Loader
  • PaymentSense account. (Test accounts are available - contact PaymentSense)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Installation

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once unzipped upload the files & folders in the 'modules' folder to the modules folder in your WHMCS installation maintaining the folder structure.

The tree structure in the download 'modules' is correct so the quickest and easiest way it to simply copy the 'modules' folder from your PC to the WHMCS folder on your server.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to use the Gateway module

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Once you have completed a successful file upload log into your admin side and go to Setup->Payment Gateways.

Click on the Activate Module dropdown and click on PaymentSense Redirect in the list then click the 'Activate' button.

NOTE: The license is for one domain only. The details of the domain are obtained at first use

so ensure you install the module on the domain on which you intend to use it.

2. Enter your licensing and merchant account details in the corresponding fields,

set the currency, enter the instructions to display to your customers (if required) and click

the 'Show on Order Form' checkbox.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Troubleshooting

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you are unable to keep the 'Show on Order Form' checkbox set check to ensure you have entered

your license key correctly and ensure you are using the module on the domain where it was

originally installed.

If you are sure you have entered your license key correctly and are using the module on the domain

on which it was originally installed check the 'License Debug' checkbox.

Log into your WHMCS client area and click the link to view an invoice (you may need to make a dummy purchase)

where you will find a lot of information on the left of the page.

Copy this information and raise a support ticket from your 1st4webshops.com client area describing the problem and pasting this information into the ticket. This will allow us to locate the cause of the problem and rectify it.

Once you have sent us this information you can uncheck the 'License Debug' checkbox.

This will return operation to normal.

We have been approached by a payment processing company of the same name and have given an interesting proposal to us. Of course we use WHMCS for all our transactions and ordering, and if the module listed above is for the same company then it will make the decision easier.

Just to make sure, do you have the URL of the company this module will work for so I can make sure it is one and the same.

Thank you.
