easyhosting
Hi I dont know if this is possible , but i have a problem that if a user forgets or just does not pay the invoice for an addon, then the system will issue the late fee for the addon invoice and then suspend the clients whole account rather than just the addon. is it possible just to have the addon suspended or terminated rather than the clients whole account.
m8internet
That does seem rather bizarre and rings a bell However, my solution was to align the addons to the main product, that way they ALL expire on the same date The customer is advised they are only paying for the part-period until the product expires On renewal the customer can then renew the main product and any addons they require (or none at all) If none are renewed the product still shows as expired, so you need to manually cancel all the expired addons It's a hassle, but it makes it easier for me and the customers Equally, I don't apply late fees to any products, Domain Names only This too has to be processed manually, setting them back to nil once the cronjob confirms the late fee has been applied It cannot be split between products and Domain Names Edited November 6, 2011 by m8internet

m8internet
My hosting is generally annual, don't offer monthly or quarterly, works fine and as mentioned during the ordering process it is made clear the add-on expires when the main product expires, which can make it relatively expensive as the main product nears its renewal interval For short term add-on products the customers is advised to request a quote and the invoice will be pro-rota for the remaining period

m8internet
All my addon products are annual, no other option is available
easyhosting
well thats how it works for you, but as a majority of my hosting clients pay monthly then my addons are monthly, but the problem is the clients who have annual plans and they forget to pay their monthly addons the whole hosting account is suspended not just the addon.
m8internet
I've just had one my customer addons suspended for nonpayment Main product is biennial and is still active (expires 11/2012) Addon product is annual and is now suspended (expires 11/2011) So clearly it is your configuration and needs to be scrutinised further
cmedeiros
I have another issue related to this subject. The main product is paid annually and the addon monthly. The main product is in day with it´s payments, the addon also it´s in day (had some overdue in the past, but now it´s ok), but whmcs keeps suspending the main product, saying that the addon is overdue. any ideas why whmcs is doing that?
