mikelegg
Is there any way duplicate the WHMCS "encryptpassword" command using straight PHP? I'm developing my own Client registration process in PHP which generates a random password for the client. Everything is quite simple and works without a hitch except for when it comes to storing the password. I've tried the MYSQL PASSWORD() function but it doesn't store the password the same way the WHMCS API does. (I have the "Disable MD5 Clients Password" option enabled, so I can read client passwords from within WHMCS) So far it looks like I have to use the WHMCS API to get the right encryption method, but if I knew what the API was doing I could just do the same thing in PHP.
