kers7754
I keep getting support ticket emails opening up on my WHMCS email support email. I wonder if I have some kind of circular reference or something but the emails come through every 10 or so days. The email is from sales@{mycompany}.com To: my email address that I registered the domain from The body looks like this: [my logo] A new support ticker response has been made. Client: NetEarth One Sales Department: Sales Subject: Completed: Registration of j721.com for 1 years ... Any idea what might be going on?
kers7754
It appears that the emails are from NEO originally saying that the domain name as been registered. I don't believe that I want NEO sending my clients an email. Then our email systems are bouncing back and forth between each other with a emails that keep saying the following: NerdAlert Hosting Sales, Thank you for contacting us. This is an automated response confirming the receipt of your ticket. One of our agents will get back to you as soon as possible. For your records, the details of the ticket are listed below. When replying, please make sure that the ticket ID is kept in the subject line to ensure that your replies are tracked appropriately. That will generate a loop as one automated system responds to the other. The solution is to use different email addresses in NEO than the ones used in WHMCS. I had the same problem for a while and that was the solution.
kers7754
Yeah, I think you are right.... So in NEO's Settings -> Personal Information -> Contact Information: NEO asks for General Billing Contact Information, General Sales Contact Information as well as General Technical Support Contact Information. Is this something that a customer would see when they purchase a domain from me? Or is just just how NEO communicates with my company?

Is this something that a customer would see when they purchase a domain from me? Or is just just how NEO communicates with my company? If you allow customers to order from your NEO Supersite, then the customers will see those addresses. If you have them ordering via the WHMCS Client Portal, then they will not see the addresses configured in NEO. Although I keep it updated for my own purposes, I do not give out the URL for my supersite so my customers all use my WHMCS Client Portal. I hope this helps. - Bob
