nerbonne
Hi. I can't seem to get whmcs to automatically create my accounts in Plesk. I've setup profiles in the Plesk control panel and made sure that my root password is correct in whmcs. I don't know what else to check? Is there possibly a step by step tutorial somewhere?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted June 16, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted June 16, 2007 There is a step by step guide in the manual, but it only tells you to enter a client template and domain template name as it's that simple. What error message are you getting?
nerbonne
Well, when I try to use the "Create Account" checkbox from the Pending Order screen, it says this at the top: Server Command Error Account Creation Failed: -
Lethy
You might have the same problem I had. Do you have an Plesk ADMIN account or a Plesk Reseller account? If a reseller account, you need to use the pleskreseller module instead of the plesk module. If so, contact WHMCS support and they'll send you the pleskreseller module.
nerbonne
I have an Admin account. It sounds like I need an extra module? I'll contact support.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted June 18, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted June 18, 2007 If you have an admin account, you don't need any extra modules. But yes, if you have a paid license and need support, just open a ticket. Matt
nerbonne
So the problem ended up being that I was using the SSH login to the server, and not the CP login. The difference being that the SSH username is root and the CP login for Plesk is admin. On a cpanel server, it would be root for both. I knew it all along, I just didn't notice! Thanks Matt for pointing it out. Works great now.
