kers7754
I am sure this is discussed somewhere in the forums, but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone have any opinions on the best Linux OS for a webserver and WHMCS install?
Roger
You do realize you just threw a technical frag grenade into a room full of techies right? CentOS seems to be pretty standard and mainstream in the hosting world. Very stable as well. Plus all the major vendors like cPanel have mature, stable products for CentOS. Debian is very stable. I particularly like the Ubuntu fork for desktops. The Ubuntu server is very stable also. But things are just a bit different (for me anyway) compared to CentOS. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! -Roger
kers7754
Yeah... thanks Roger. I current have CentOS on one of my boxes. I am not much of a Linux guy since college and wanted to make sure I was not doing something crutially wrong.

tweakservers
If you are installing any control panel, make sure its supported by OS. Centos is pretty much a standard OS to be used.

singh9211
CentOS is best Operating System, And it also supported by many softwares such as Cpanel/WHM, Virtualmin, Plesk, ISPConfig, Kloxo, Direct Admin, etc. So i suggest go for CentOS.
